
The National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Dan Aji, has approved the appointment of 12 personal aides to reinforce the activities of his office and deepen engagement with young people across the country.
The appointments were announced in a statement issued on January 14, 2026. According to the statement, the move is aimed at improving coordination, administration and overall service delivery within the Office of the National Youth Leader.
Armstrong Addah was appointed as Chief of Staff, while Blessing Odawn will serve as Personal Assistant. Other appointees include Usman Musa Bala as Special Assistant on Media and Communications; Halima Wudiri as Special Assistant on Youth Mobilisation and Women; and Kelly Dickson as Special Assistant on Protocol.
Also appointed are EleOjo Victor Agbenu as Special Assistant (Special Duties I), Rashida Ishaq as Special Assistant (Special Duties II), and Kabiru Ibrahim Dankasa as Special Assistant (Special Duties III).
For regional coordination, Okwor Patrick Uchenna was named Liaison Officer for the South East; Argundade Adokunle for the South West; and Ugbomoh Passion Joseph for the South South. Salisu Yahaya, popularly known as Bright, was appointed Special Assistant on Youth Affairs.
Dan Aji congratulated the appointees and urged them to carry out their responsibilities with diligence, professionalism and loyalty to the ideals of the PDP. He expressed optimism that the new appointments would strengthen the party’s youth wing and enhance effective nationwide engagement.
