The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all candidates seeking admission for the 2025 academic session to re-upload their O’Level results to the Board’s portal.

The directive, announced on Monday through JAMB’s official bulletin and X handle, affects all candidates who had uploaded their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results prior to the official release of the final 2025 results.
According to the Board, earlier uploads have been completely cleared from its system to prevent errors and ensure a transparent admission process.
“Candidates who sat the UTME with awaiting results are required to upload their O’Level results once they are officially released. Many had uploaded provisional results before WAEC released the final outcome. To avoid confusion, the Board cleared all previous uploads, and every candidate must now re-upload their results, whether or not they are different from the earlier ones,” JAMB stated.
The Board warned that failure to comply with the directive could disqualify candidates from being considered for admission.
In response to questions from concerned candidates on social media, JAMB reiterated that all results uploaded before its verification policy came into effect must still be re-uploaded at any accredited centre nationwide.
“Please re-upload your 2025 SSCE result to the JAMB portal without delay,” the statement added.
The announcement has generated mixed reactions, with many candidates expressing frustration after already rushing to upload their results in line with earlier admission requirements.
With this new policy, candidates are expected to visit JAMB-accredited centres across the country to upload their verified WAEC results to ensure seamless processing of their admission status.
