The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released the full list of sub-committees tasked with organising its 2025 Elective National Convention, set to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, from November 15 to 16.
The announcement, signed by National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) Chairman and Adamawa State Governor, Umaru Fintiri, was shared on the party’s official X handle on Monday.
According to the statement, over 100 members have been appointed across various sub-committees, including accreditation, security, electoral process, accommodation, logistics, and publicity.

- Electoral Committee: Governor Umaru Fintiri (Chairman), Governor Ademola Adeleke (Deputy), Dr. Okereke Ipeazu (Secretary).
- Accommodation: Governor Ademola Adeleke (Chairman), Dr. Ibrahim Dankwambo (Deputy), Alhaji Gamboa Gade (Secretary).
- Accreditation: Governor Dauda Lawal (Chairman), Ashamu Abantekewei (Deputy), Umar Bature (Secretary).
- Contact & Mobilisation: Governor Douye Diri (Chairman), Senator Abba Moro (Deputy), Emmanuel Ekpe (Secretary).
- Constitutional Amendment: Udom Emmanuel (Chairman), Barr. Mark Jacob (Deputy), Adeyemi Ajibade, SAN (Secretary).
- Publicity: Governor Bala Mohammed (Chairman), Lady Ime Udom (Deputy), Lucky Igbinedion (Secretary).
- Security: Governor Kefas Agbu (Chairman), Senator Austin Akobundu (Rtd) (Deputy), Alhaji Yerima Hussaini (Secretary).
- Transportation: Governor Seyi Makinde (Chairman), Senator Sunday Marshall Katung (Deputy), Hon. Dr. Adebayo Adepoju (Secretary).
Other committees will oversee protocol, entertainment and welfare, medical services, monitoring and evaluation, and venue preparation.
The PDP said the committees are responsible for ensuring a “smooth, transparent and credible convention” that will produce new national officers to lead the party.
The Ibadan gathering is expected to draw governors, lawmakers, and party stakeholders nationwide as the PDP positions itself ahead of the 2027 general elections.
