The Federal Character Commissioner designate, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye (MDII) has sent hearty felicitations to former governor of Oyo State, now the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja ARUSA 1, on the occasion of his 81st birthday celebration and ascension to the throne as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland .
In a message signed through his media office, Aleshinloye said the new Olubadan of Ibadanland has lived his entire life serving the people and Nigeria as a celebrated businessman, politician and statesman.
“What an impressive trajectory! From senator to governor and now king; it is clear that you are truly a man of the people. I hereby extend my warmest congratulations to you sir on your ascension to the throne and birthday celebration. This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone in the history of Ibadan and our dear state”.
The former Algon chairman described Oba Ladoja as a visionary leader and a rare mentor with exceptional abilities in various areas of human endeavours, adding that the former governor is a political pathfinder, nationalist and detribalised Nigerian, who has contributed in no small measure to the socio-political and economic growth of Oyo State and Nigeria in general.
“Your ascension to the throne marks a new chapter in Ibadanland history, and I have no doubt that your leadership will bring peace, progress, and prosperity to our people. Your wisdom, integrity, and commitment to the well-being of our state will undoubtedly guide us towards a brighter future”.
