Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, is set to officially crown Prince Adebayo Adegbola as the new Eleruwa of Eruwa on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
This was revealed in a statement by the State Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade, who said preparations are in full swing for the historic occasion.
The date for the coronation was confirmed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Ojo.
Prince Oyelade described Prince Adegbola’s emergence as a reaffirmation of the state government’s commitment to preserving Eruwa’s cultural legacy and promoting unity among its people.
He noted that the coronation goes beyond tradition, as it represents the community’s shared resolve to uphold its heritage and values.
Oyelade urged residents and stakeholders to actively participate in the event, emphasizing that the ceremony would help strengthen communal bonds and mark the beginning of a new era of peace, development, and progress in Eruwa.
