He began his education in Uso before proceeding to Ondo Boys’ High School, Ondo; Yaba Higher College, Lagos; and the University College, Ibadan, where he pursued further studies in English and Geography.

Fasoranti subsequently built a distinguished career in education, beginning as a teacher at his alma mater, Ondo Boys’ High School.

He later served as principal of Oyemekun Grammar School, Iju-Itaogbolu Grammar School and Christ School, Ado-Ekiti.

His commitment to education continued after his retirement from formal teaching, as he established Omolere Nursery and Primary School and Akure High School, both located in Akure, Ondo State.

Political Career and Public Service

Fasoranti’s involvement in politics began during his student days when he joined the Action Group Students Association.

He later became associated with the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), founded by the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, one of Nigeria’s prominent nationalist and political leaders.

Under the UPN-led administration, Fasoranti served as Ondo State Commissioner for Finance between 1979 and 1983.

Beyond his political responsibilities, he emerged as a prominent voice in Yoruba affairs and national discussions, particularly on democracy, justice, accountability and responsible governance.
