As preparations intensify for the upcoming Oyo State Delegates Conference of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), the Authentic Integrity Group (AIG) has officially presented its slate of candidates for various state executive positions.

The conference is slated for Thursday, August 7, 2025, and will take place at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.
In a press release issued by the AIG Media Team, the group—led by Comrade Ayobami Olusegun Adeogun—reaffirmed its commitment to credible, inclusive, and people-focused leadership. AIG emphasized that its participation in the forthcoming elections is motivated by a desire to build on the progress achieved under its leadership at both branch and state levels.
“Our dedicated and dependable comrades are stepping forward to drive continuity, uphold accountability, foster innovation, and promote inclusive development within the union,” the statement read.
The group highlighted its track record in championing the welfare of NULGE members across key institutions, including the Local Government Service, Primary Health Care Board, and the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB). It reiterated its core values of equity, integrity, and transparent representation.
As electioneering activities continue in the lead-up to the conference, AIG has appealed to members, stakeholders, and supporters to rally behind its candidates.
“We call on all comrades to support this vision with their voices and votes. Together, we can strengthen a union that truly serves everyone,” the group stated.
AIG’s campaign slogan, “Ayo Ní Ooo”—Yoruba for “Joy Has Come”—reflects its confidence and hope for victory at the polls.
