An APC chieftain and grassroots politician Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye,MDII, has commiserated with the former NCC Chairman, Prof. Adeolu Akande on the death of his father.
The former Algon chairman,in his condolence message signed through his media office, said the late Pa Amos Adetunji Akande’s death marked a glorious end to a life well spent in the service of humanity and lifestyle would remain a source of inspiration for his offspring and all who knew him.
He described the deceased as a devout Christian, community leader and a philanthropist who dedicated his life to the good of others and the development of his community.
“However, death as an inevitable end, will surely come at a time that only God, the unquestionable and the all-knowing, knows”,he said.
Aleshinloye said although Prof Akande will definitely feel the pain of losing his father, he urged him to be consoled by the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled life and departed at a ripe old age.
He prayed that baba’s soul will rest in perfect peace and God grant the Akande family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
