The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has announced the opening of its official recruitment portal for teaching positions across the state.
In a statement issued on Monday, the board’s Executive Chairman revealed that the exercise, approved by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, aims to attract qualified educators committed to improving the standard of education in Lagos.
According to the statement, the opportunity is open to graduates with the following qualifications: NCE, B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, HND+PGDE, BA+PGDE, and B.Sc+PGDE.
Applicants are required to submit their applications strictly through the portal: https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng. The board emphasized that physical submissions will not be accepted and warned applicants against paying money to any individual or group, stressing that the entire process is free of charge.
Required documents include:
- O’ Level certificate (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB)
- NCE or degree certificate
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (where applicable)
The board also cautioned that notification of results or statements of results issued more than two years ago will not be accepted.
The application portal will remain open until October 14, 2025.
