The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that it will inaugurate its 2025 National Convention Organizing Committee (NCOC) on Tuesday, September 2, at the party’s National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the event will take place at the NEC Hall by 12 noon.

The 110-member committee, approved by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), will be chaired by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State. Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has been appointed Vice Chairman, while Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, will serve as Secretary.
“The National Working Committee (NWC) charges all leaders, stakeholders and members of our great party to remain united, focused and committed to ensuring the success of the 2025 Elective National Convention,” the statement read.
The convention, described as crucial to the party’s future direction, is scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, from Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, 2025.
