Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, officially resumed her legislative duties on Tuesday following the reopening of her office at the National Assembly.
Her office, located in Suite 2.05 of the Senate Wing, was unsealed by the Deputy Director of the National Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms, Alabi Adedeji.

Speaking to journalists shortly after resuming, Senator Natasha expressed gratitude for the support she received during her six-month suspension and vowed to remain steadfast in defending her rights.
“In retrospect, it is amazing how much we endured in the past six months — from an unjust suspension to the recall process — but we survived the blackmail and all attempts to silence us,” she said.
The lawmaker extended appreciation to her constituents, Nigerians, and her family, singling out her husband for his unwavering support.
She, however, criticized Senate President Godswill Akpabio, accusing him of running the National Assembly in a dictatorial manner.
“No one is more Nigerian than us. Senator Akpabio is not more of a senator than I am. He is not the governor of this place, yet he treated me as though I were a servant in his house. It is unacceptable to have the National Assembly run this way,” she said.
Senator Natasha vowed to continue standing against injustice, insisting she has “no apology to tender.”
