A Magistrate Court sitting in Hadejia, Jigawa State, has ordered the arrest of a Department of State Services (DSS) officer, identified as Ifeanyi Festus, and directed security agencies to investigate alleged offences involving a minor.
The order followed an application filed by Abdulhadi Ibrahim in Suit No: DCC/01/2026 before the Magistrate Court of Jigawa State, Hadejia Magisterial District. The ruling was delivered by the presiding magistrate, His Worship Sadisu Musa Esq., and was dated January 2026.

Court documents obtained by SaharaReporters revealed that the application was moved by Kabiru Adamu Esq., who appeared alongside Babangida Garba Esq. as counsel to the applicant. In a separate and urgent directive, the court ordered the Department of State Services to immediately release and reunite the alleged victim, identified as Walida Abdulhadi, with her parents.
