The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that registration for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will run from January 26 to February 28 at all approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across Nigeria.
JAMB Registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, made the disclosure on Saturday during a meeting with Commissioners for Education in Lagos, ahead of the 2026 UTME and Direct Entry exercises.
According to Oloyede, the sale of UTME application documents, also known as ePINs, began earlier on January 19 and will continue until February 26. He said:
“The actual UTME registration period is between January 26 and February 28 at all approved CBT Centres.”
The Registrar further revealed that selection for the mock examination will close on February 16, while the sale of Direct Entry (DE) application documents and ePIN vending will run from March 2 to April 25.
“The close of mock selection is February 16, while the sale of DE application documents and e-PIN vending will commence on March 2 and close by April 25,” Oloyede added.
He also noted that 924 centres have been screened and provisionally listed, with a final assessment to be conducted before full accreditation for UTME registration and examination.
