The Redeemed Christian Church of God has unveiled the official programme for its 2026 International Youth Convention, with thousands of young people expected to converge on Redemption City for a week-long spiritual and youth-focused gathering.
Tagged “HEAVEN,” the 2026 International Youth Convention (IYC) is scheduled to hold from September 28 to October 3, 2026, at Redemption City, KM 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The convention is designed as more than a single event, with organisers describing it as a carefully planned experience aimed at making the gathering meaningful, impactful and memorable for participants.
The programme officially gets underway with an Opening Parade on Monday, September 28, at 6pm WAT, setting the tone for the activities scheduled throughout the convention.
The colourful promotional material for the event captures the theme through imagery associated with heaven, worship, music, youth participation and celebration, reflecting the organisers’ emphasis on creating an engaging experience for young attendees.
According to the organisers, activities have been arranged from morning through evening across the convention period, giving participants opportunities to take part in the various programmes and prepare ahead of each day.
The RCCG youth organisers have encouraged prospective participants to study the official schedule, plan their activities and prepare for the convention before arriving at Redemption City.
With the theme “HEAVEN,” IYC 2026 is expected to bring together young people for a period centred on faith, fellowship, worship and spiritual engagement.
The convention will run until October 3, 2026, with the organisers urging participants to make adequate preparations for the full experience.
