The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi, has been recognised by the World Book of Records, London, for his outstanding contributions to education, humanitarian service and global faith outreach.
Pastor Kumuyi announced the recognition on Sunday via his official X account, where he shared the organisation’s inclusion letter.
Expressing gratitude for the honour, Kumuyi said his focus remains on evangelism and winning souls for Christ.
He revealed that through the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), more than 50 million people have been reached over the past five years, with over 900,000 individuals making decisions to follow Christ.
According to the inclusion letter signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the World Book of Records, Santosh Shukla, Kumuyi was inducted into the organisation’s Excellence (E1) category.
The organisation said the recognition was awarded for his exceptional contributions to education, academic excellence, visionary leadership, humanitarian service, community development and global outreach, noting that his faith-based initiatives and social empowerment programmes have positively impacted millions of lives across continents.
The World Book of Records explained that the E1 category is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and distinguished service in academics, professional leadership, humanitarian work and community development. It added that recipients set standards of excellence and inspire future generations through their dedication and lasting impact.
The organisation congratulated Pastor Kumuyi on the recognition and wished him continued success in his future endeavours.
Pastor Kumuyi is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, and founder and Chancellor of Anchor University, Lagos.
