The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has lost his immediate elder brother, Prince Adetunji Ogunwusi.
The death of the businessman was announced on Sunday in a statement issued by the Ooni of Ife Leadership Colloquium, which described his passing as a great loss to his family, the business community and traditional institutions across Nigeria.
According to the statement, Prince Adetunji served as the Chairman of Primewaterview Limited, where he earned a reputation for integrity, visionary leadership and a commitment to excellence. The group noted that his achievements in business and mentorship inspired many entrepreneurs and associates.
The organisation also described the late prince as a man of resilience, humility, generosity and purposeful service, saying his contributions to commerce, leadership and community development would remain a lasting legacy.
The colloquium extended its condolences to the Ooni of Ife, members of the Ogunwusi family, friends and business associates, praying for strength and comfort as they mourn the loss.
It further expressed hope that Prince Adetunji’s life of honour, compassion and excellence would continue to inspire future generations.
