President is set to embark on a multi-nation trip, departing Abuja on Saturday for official visits to France, Kenya, and Rwanda.
According to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, , the president’s itinerary will begin in France before heading to Nairobi, Kenya.
In Kenya, Tinubu will participate in the Africa-France Summit scheduled for May 11–12. The event will be co-chaired by and , and will address critical issues such as energy transition, digital innovation, and climate action.
The presidency noted that Tinubu’s presence at the summit highlights Nigeria’s commitment to deepening strategic partnerships with African countries and France.
Following the Kenya engagement, the president will proceed to Kigali, Rwanda, to attend the Africa CEO Forum from May 14–15. Organised in collaboration with the , the forum will bring together policymakers and business leaders to explore investment opportunities and economic growth across Africa.
At both events, Tinubu is expected to present his administration’s reform agenda aimed at positioning Nigeria as a leading destination for investment. He will also hold meetings with prominent African and global business figures.
The president will be accompanied by selected ministers and senior aides and is expected to return to Nigeria after concluding his engagements in Rwanda.
